Do I still have to go to the DMV?
In most cases no. We are a licensed registration service, so we file the paperwork on your behalf. A few transactions do still require you to appear at a DMV field office in person, and we will tell you straight away if yours is one of them.
Do you charge more than the DMV?
We charge a service fee on top of the DMV fees, because you are paying us to handle the visit and the paperwork instead of doing it yourself. These services may also be obtained from the California DMV at no additional cost, and we will tell you our fee before you commit to anything.
Are you part of the DMV?
No. Truxza is a private company licensed by the California DMV as a registration service. We are not a branch of the DMV and we do not speak for it.
